Utica: The Mob Files is one of the rawest and most emotionally charged projects in the B-Cide catalog. Released in 2014 under Utica Grind Records, this album was recorded at Noneya Business and introduced the alter ego Bobby Dinero as a way to separate personal pain from the music and let everything out without restraint.

This project was created during one of the darkest periods of B-Cide’s life. While dealing with worsening health issues related to multiple sclerosis and intense personal turmoil, the Bobby Dinero persona became an outlet for anger, frustration, and unfiltered honesty. B-Cide has described this as the most hateful album he’s ever recorded, a period and mindset explored further in his book.

The album captures the grit and grind of Utica, New York, leaning heavily into street realism, mob mentality energy, and raw East Coast storytelling. It stands as a snapshot of survival mode, where emotion outweighed polish and truth mattered more than comfort.

The project features a strong lineup of underground collaborators, including Skatterman (formerly of Strange Music), Whitney Peyton, Frank Nitty of Project Born, G Beanz, CitiLightz, and Shysty, who appears here under the name Tony Skyline. Each feature adds to the intensity and authenticity of the record without diluting its core message.
