B-Cide – PE (CD)

Description

PE (Pulmonary Embolism) is one of the most personal and serious albums in the B-Cide catalog. The project was written and recorded after B-Cide suffered a pulmonary embolism that put him in the hospital for a week. The experience left a lasting impact on his health and mindset, and later became a pivotal moment referenced in his memoir.

This album predates his multiple sclerosis diagnosis, but in hindsight, B-Cide has often pointed to this medical emergency as the moment his body began breaking down. Because of that, PE is filled with raw, reflective, and emotionally heavy material, dealing with mortality, fear, recovery, and identity.

Unlike many earlier releases, there are no rap feature verses on this album. Every track is performed by B-Cide himself, with the only guest appearances coming from singers, keeping the focus tightly centered on his voice and experience.
