This project features B-Cide and Shysty operating as the duo Big East Finest, trading verses over classic, unlicensed beats that were never intended for commercial release. It’s a true mixtape in the original sense, recorded for fun, for movement, and for the people who were really there.

Unlike the original Big East Finest mixtape from 2003, which is no longer sold due to a major falling out with the original members, Volume 2 stands alone as a snapshot of a different moment. One where the focus was simply putting music together, rocking with friends, and documenting the grind.

This release features appearances from G.A., R. Dollaz, MiniBlaze, and WordPlay, among others, and was created purely in the spirit of underground collaboration.
