This is where B-Cide Trading Cards begins.

Series Zero is a limited 25-pack proof-of-concept built from more than 25 years of music, photographs, stories, performances and moments from B-Cide’s career.

Created by B-Cide as both an artist and lifelong trading-card collector, Series Zero was designed to be more than merchandise with pictures printed on cards. It was built like a collectible card release, complete with a base set, parallels, short prints, super short prints, holographic inserts, numbered chases, authentic printing proofs and a true one-of-one autograph.

There are only 25 individually numbered packs in the entire release.

When they’re gone, Series Zero is over.

7 MYSTERY COLLECTIBLE CARDS IN EVERY PACK

Every Series Zero pack contains 7 mystery collectible cards pulled from a release featuring cards from throughout B-Cide’s career.

Possible pulls include:

20-Card Base Set
Cards documenting different eras, places, people and moments from more than two decades of B-Cide’s independent music career.

Blue Frost Parallels /3
Extremely limited alternate versions of select Series Zero cards. Only three copies of each Blue Frost parallel were produced.

Holographic Short Prints
Limited holographic variations hidden throughout Series Zero.

Holographic Super Short Prints
Even scarcer holographic cards waiting to be discovered.

STATIC Holographic Inserts
A special three-card holographic insert set introducing STATIC, an experimental chase concept created for B-Cide Trading Cards.

What is it?

You’ll have to find one.

Gold Autograph 1/1
The biggest chase in Series Zero. One Gold Autograph exists in the entire 25-pack release.

Its appearance is intentionally not being shown.

One card. One pack. One collector finds it.

And Series Zero may still have a few things it isn’t telling you.

TWO ORIGINAL PRINTING PROOFS ARE HIDING IN THE RELEASE

Before the finished Series Zero cards went into production, physical printing proofs were created to test the designs.

Two original pre-production Series Zero pack Printing Proofs from that process have been randomly inserted into the 25-pack release.

These aren’t reproductions made afterward and they aren’t manufactured proof parallels. They are actual artifacts from the development of Series Zero, printed on the original proof stock and marked as non-production cards.

If you find one, you don’t lose one of your regular pulls.

The Printing Proof is included as a bonus 10th physical card in that pack, in addition to the complete standard pack contents.

Only two packs have one.

THE PACK ISN’T QUITE WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE

Series Zero was designed to resemble a traditional foil trading-card pack.

But look a little closer.

There’s more going on here than a disposable wrapper.

Every standard Series Zero pack contains 9 physical cards total, including the 7 mystery collectible cards.

Exactly how the rest of that experience works?

That’s part of opening Series Zero.

Nothing needs to be torn apart or thrown away to get to your cards, and once you’ve opened one, you’ll understand why the pack itself was designed to be collectible.

NOBODY KNOWS WHICH NUMBERED PACK HAS THE GOLD

Series Zero isn’t being assembled by simply dropping cards into packs and numbering them in order.

The release uses a controlled collation process designed to distribute the collectible cards and chase cards throughout the 25 packs.

The packs are then randomized before the final hand-numbered pack fronts are assigned from 01/25 through 25/25.

That last step matters.

It means even B-Cide doesn’t know which final numbered pack contains the Gold Autograph 1/1, a particular holographic chase, one of the Printing Proofs or another specific hit.

There is no known “Gold pack.”

There is no special number to request.

There is no way to pick the better pack.

Choose your pack. Open it. Find out.

WHY SERIES ZERO?

B-Cide has been making independent music since 1998.

He has also spent much of his life collecting trading cards.

Eventually those two worlds collided.

Series Zero started with a simple idea: instead of putting out another piece of music merchandise, what would happen if more than 25 years of photographs, stories and memories were treated like an actual trading-card product?

Not just cards to look at.

Cards to collect. Cards to chase. Cards you don’t know you’re getting until you open the pack.

But there was no reason to assume people would want Series One.

So B-Cide didn’t make Series One.

He made Series Zero.

Twenty-five packs.

A proof of concept.

A chance to find out whether this idea actually has somewhere to go.

Evidence, not expectation.

If Series Zero eventually becomes the beginning of something much bigger, these are the cards that came first.

And if it doesn’t?

There will still only ever be these 25 packs.

Series Zero isn’t “limited” because thousands were produced and somebody decided to put the word limited on the box.

There are 25 packs total.

Each one is individually numbered.

There will be no second Series Zero print run.

There will be no restock after the original 25 packs are gone.

There will be no recreation of this release later if B-Cide Trading Cards continues into future series.

Series Zero happens once.
