Released in 2006, The Self-Proclaimed King marked a major turning point in B-Cide’s career. Produced and executive produced by B-Cide, the album reflects a period when everything was moving fast—constant travel, Midwest promotion runs, and nonstop momentum that pushed the music far beyond home territory.

Built on raw confidence, sharpened songwriting, and high-energy production, this project played a major role in establishing B-Cide’s presence within the underground and Juggalo scenes. The album features appearances from longtime collaborator Shysty, EastSide Productions affiliate X-Kal, and respected regional names, capturing an era when shows were frequent, the grind was relentless, and the audience was growing organically city by city.
